Mashkulay is a collection of anecdotes, predominantly political. There is large section of anecdotes of Soviet times, which jasmand collected during his stay there between 1977 and 1986. Another section includes anecdotes mostly told by Comrade Rattan Singh Dolike, who exerted big influence during the formative years of the author. The book also includes a section of jokes, which are based on the real incidences, having happened with jasmand or with his close friends & relatives.
